KVK Barnala visited 140 Gram Panchayats during “Vikasit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan”

Handiaya-12June-Today on 12 /6/2025 was the valedictory day of Vikasit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan which was inaugurated by Hob’ble Agriculture and farmer welfare minister Sh. Shivraj Singh Chouhan at Orisa and S.Gurmeet Singh Khuddian , Agriculture minister at Fatehgarh Sahib (Punjab) on 29th May 2025. This was National wide Abhiyan in whole Country. In Barnala district this Abhiyan was lead by Krishi Vigyan Kendra , Barnala of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences , University Ludhiana in direction of Dr.P.S.Tanwar, Associate Director. Three teams of KVK Barnala were constituted to succeed this Abhiyan along with line Departments. These team were visited around 140 Gram Panchayats of district Barnala and covered more than twenty thousands farmers and farm women during the Abhiyan.

This Abhiyan was very successful and helped the farmers to know various schemes like PM Kisan Saman Nidhi, PM Kisan Mandhan Yojna, PM Sharm Yogi Mandhan Yojana, PMEGP, KCC, KCC for Livestock, National Livestock mission etc. Detailed discussions was held on soil testing, application of fertilizer according to Soil health card, cultivation of Kharif crops, other enterprises dairy farming, poultry, goatarry, piggery, value addition of milk and milk products & Agriculture produce,fish farming, cultivation of fruit and vegetables. Concerned line Department like Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, IFFCO, Lead Bank Barnala gave their full support and contribution.

The different type of literature were distributed among farmers. The technical problems of farmers related to Agriculture and Animal husbandry were solved on spot and feedback back from farmer were collected.The farmers were satisfied with this Abhiyan.Whole KVK team performed appreciable job during this Abhiyan, Dr. Suryendra Singh,Dr.Harjot Singh, Dr.Anjuly Sharma, Dr.Prateek Jindal, Dr.Rajinder Kaur, Dr.Sanjay Kumar, Mr.Pardeep Kumar
