KVK Barnala visited nine villages on the seventh day under the Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan

Handiaya-04June- Seventh day( 4/6/2025) of Vikasit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan. Three teams of KVK Barnala visited nine villages viz.Naiwala,Patti. Sekhwan, Patti Sohlan, Manal, Thuliwal, Fatehpur pindi, Gumti, Mangewal, Banni Fatta. Dr.P.S.Tanwar Associate Director discussed about various schemes implemented by GOI for welfare of farming Community. Motivate to the farmers to reduce the cost of cultivation of crops and motivate to the farmers for use of Leaf colour chart in Paddy, Wheat, Maize and cotton , he told that upto 25 Kg urea can be saved in Paddy crop only and total costing of this saved urea is around 1.53 crore in district Barnala only in Paddy crop.

He also discussed about activities is conducted by KVK Barnala . Dr.Suryendra Singh discussed about importance of soil testing and motivates the use of fertilizer according to soil health card. Dr. Anjuly Sharma discussed about income generating activities. Mr. Jaswinder Singh , ADO discussed about different schemes of Dept. of Agriculture.
